    The Sheffield Steelkings Sledge Hockey Club was established.  
  • 6 December 2014
    First friendly game.
    Played against the Manchester Phoenix at IceSheffield.
  • 25 April 2015
    First game as part of the British Sledge Hockey League.
    Played against the Kingston Kestrels, in Hull.
  • 25 April 2015
    First ever goal, scored by Barry Grayson.
    In our first game played against the Kingston Kestrels in Hull.
  • 29 May 2016
    Our longest goal, scored by John Oakley.
    John shot the puck from within our defensive zone and managed to score on an unsuspecting Peterborough Phantoms goalie at IceSheffield.

    First British League win.
    A 10-2 win over the Manchester Mayhem at IceSheffield.

    First Hat Trick, achieved by Gary Farmer.
    In our first league win against Manchester Mayhem at IceSheffield.
  • 18 June 2017
    Most goals in a single game, achieved by Gary Farmer.
    Seven goals were scored in our first win against Manchester Mayhem.
  • 8th July 2017
    First Shut Out, by Rachel Rawson.
    During our away game against the Cardiff Huskies, netminder Rachel Rawson got the Steelkings their first shut out, and a 6-0 victory.
  • 26th August 2017
    First Playoff qualification.
    After an exciting home game against the Peterborough Phantoms, the Steelkings qualified for the play offs by taking the Phantoms to overtime, and then winning the game in a penalty shoot out.

    First unsanctioned Great Britain Women’s goal.
    Scored by Rachel Oakley (née Paget) at the Women’s Para Ice Hockey Development Camp in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
